The Brand

The Blue Stitch brand was developed to offer denim enthusiasts a diverse selection of designs at accessible price points. This involved a comprehensive brand creation process, encompassing competitor analysis, iconography development, business canvas creation, and the definition of our mission, vision, values, CSR approach, target audience (including persona, demographics, and psychographics), mood board, tech packs, sourcing guidelines, white space, and code of conduct. Country of choice for supply was also shortened down to 3 country proposal.

Supply Chain

Based on our research and guidelines, we strategically selected El Salvador as the optimal country for the brand Blue Stitch. This decision was influenced by El Salvador's proximity to the United States and its favorable political agreement with the US. We also identified a key supplier from our top three choices, using a ranking system based on parameters essential for brand functionality and supply chain harmony. Furthermore, we developed tech packs for each article and concluded with a comprehensive supply chain plan.
Retrospect
In retrospect, this project offered significant learning opportunities, particularly in the realm of supply chain management. We gained valuable insights into country-specific information and current trade practices. The experience of developing a new company from its inception and conceptualizing its core identity was both challenging and rewarding. Our research into potential suppliers and target countries was comprehensive and informed by current industry standards.
